GI Bleeding Diagnostic - HemeAlert® |
|
The HemeAlert® technology uses a spectroscopic
approach for a rapid and economical analysis of blood present in fecal
samples. The HemeAlert® test is not only sensitive but is capable of
determining whether the blood in a stool sample originated from a bleeding
site in the upper or lower GI tract. This capability will add an important
capability for the economical screening for colorectal cancer.
